After graduating from the Faculty of Arts at the Sorbonne University, he served as Director of Mitsukoshi’s Paris office before joining Hermès International. In 1998, he was appointed President of Hermès Japan. In 2008, he became the first foreigner to serve as Vice President of the French headquarters. After leaving the company in 2015, he established Scenery International and assumed the position of Representative Director. He was awarded the rank of Chevalier of the National Order of Merit of the French Republic.

Mio Shimamura

After working at a foreign-affiliated advertising agency, she served as head of marketing/PR at top brands including Walt Disney Company (USA), Harry Winston, and Tiffany & Co. In 2013, she established Lusso Inc., a communication consulting firm. She handles PR for various top brands, produces Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in Japan, and organizes events for high-net-worth individuals. Having grown up in a family environment where Japanese culture such as tea ceremony and kimono dressing were taught, she acquired the business rights to Premium Japan in 2017 and established Premium Japan Inc. in 2018.
